List Of Ingridients 

The active ingredient present in the formulation of Aspadol tablets is 100mg of Tapentadol. 

The inactive ingredients include- 

• Microcrystalline Cellulose
• Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate
• Croscarmellose Sodium
• Hydroxypropyl Cellulose
• Magnesium Stearate
• Povidone
• Talc.

Formulation

Aspadol 100mg is an immediate-release formula. These medications are designed to dissolve and absorb immediately in the body following its administration.

Aspadol 100mg begins to work within 30 minutes of intake, with its effects potentially lasting up to 4 to 6 hours.

Aspadol 100mg Uses

Aspadol, 100 mg tablets, is one of the most effective pain management options recommended for moderate to severe acute pain. 

Acute pain is described as sudden and sharp pain caused by injuries such as cuts, bruises, burns, and pulled muscles or following surgery. 

Note– If a lower dose of Aspadol, such as the 100mg tablet, is not providing adequate pain relief, increasing the dose may be an option. However, Aspadol 200mg is an extended-release tablet designed to provide relief for up to 12 hours with a single dose. Any adjustments to the dosage or a switch from Aspadol IR (immediate-release) to Aspadol ER (extended-release) should be made under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

How To Take Aspadol Tablet?

• Swallow one Aspadol 100mg tablet at a time with water without breaking or crushing it.

Missed Dose

Expired or unwanted Aspadol tablets should be immediately disposed of through a medicine take-back program or must be flushed down the toilet. 

Drug Interaction Of Aspadol Tab 100 mg

Drug interaction can change how your medication may work and increase the risk of side effects. 

Some pain medications that may interact with Aspadol include samidorphan, butorphanol,  pentazocine, nalbuphine, and naltrexone. 

The intake of MAO inhibitors such as isocarboxazid, linezolid, metaxalone, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, and rasagiline with Aspadol can cause serious drug interaction. 

Inform your doctor if you are taking other opioid pain medication or muscle relaxers such as-

• Codeine 
• Hydrocodone
• Carisoprodol
• Cyclobenzaprine

The use of antihistamines such as cetirizine and diphenhydramine is also not recommended. Aspadol 100mg should be used with caution in patients who are taking allergy and cough medication, as it can cause extreme drowsiness.
